Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and working directly with Platform & Solutions
Management and Business Development Management, this position develops and executes
global plan and regional plans (with local teams) within the marketing communications discipline for the AgFintech, Commodities and Precision Agriculture initiatives. The position is well versed in global marketing strategies, commercialization and go-to market execution in B2B technology/digital services business, in marketing tactics, channel strategy, leads
generation/sales conversion, branding and marketing analytics. The individual will work with many different business partners to identify needs and priorities related to short term and long term revenue growth and will impact all 7 Ps of the marketing mix. The individual demonstrates creativity, foresight, business judgement and outstanding customers’ needs understanding. Position leads projects, regional in scope and works with senior management and local teams/agencies to achieve objectives. The individual is hands-on, making things happen within a lean environment. As part of the leadership team, leadership skills and the ability to sell ideas are developed. Must communicate effectively across solutions, industry, distributor and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations. Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences. Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit.
Education, Knowledge & Abilities
GEOSYS seeks a results-oriented, dynamic, and innovative individual with experience and
demonstrated success in agricultural technology services industry that will meet the company’s
mission and vision. The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge, experience,
and personal characteristics:
- Requires a college degree or equivalent – in scientific or technology domain – and 7+
years of marketing experience
- Expert in the marketing communications discipline.
- Must have strong writing/presentation skills and examples of successful communication
plans and results.
- Solid written and verbal skills necessary
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to deal with issues
crossing boundaries or persuade others inside or outside the organization to take action
- Expertise in the field of Technology / Digital services B2B sales
- Understanding the importance of a clear vision and focused mission with measurable
outcomes. Demonstrated ability to break down broad goals into achievable milestones
with associated action plans and deliverables, to anticipate and solve problems, and to
take advantage of opportunities.
- Fast learner able to grasp possibilities and limitations of technical components and able
to write complex technical content highlighting value proposition and differentiation and
fitting customer segment expectations.
- Excellent organizational skills. This position requires being involved in and handling
multiple areas at once. Coordinate activities with respect to final deadlines agreed upon.
- An affinity for agriculture and ability to be passionate about the industry. Sound
judgment, unquestionable integrity, and mental toughness.
